In January, Saif Ali Khan was assaulted by an intruder at his residence in Mumbai during an attempted burglary. Following the incident, the actor underwent several surgeries, and security measures at his home were significantly enhanced upon his return. In a recent interview with Zoom, Soha Ali Khan disclosed that Saif has fully recovered, although the family continues to cope with the emotional aftermath.

Soha Ali Khan provided an update on Saif’s condition, stating, “We are just very happy that Bhai (Saif) is fine. It was a very close call. He went through a very prolonged surgery. But now, the most important thing is that he is completely fine and fully recovered. He is back at work. Of course, everybody will take time to recover from the emotional trauma of it. But he is safe.”

The incident took place on January 16, when an intruder attacked Saif Ali Khan with a knife during a burglary attempt. The actor sustained multiple injuries, including lacerations near his spine and neck. He was promptly taken to the hospital, where he underwent several surgical procedures and was discharged after a few days.

In a conversation with the Times of India, Saif mentioned that he did not initially realize he was being repeatedly stabbed due to the adrenaline rush. He also revealed that he now bears 30 scars from the attack. Nearly three months post-incident, the Mumbai Police have submitted a 1,000-page chargesheet related to the case.

Upcoming projects for Saif Ali Khan and Soha Ali Khan include Saif's role in the Netflix film "Jewel Thief: The Heist Begins," directed by Kookie Gulati and Robbie Grewal, featuring Jaideep Ahlawat, Nikita Dutta, and Kunal Kapoor in significant roles. The film is set to premiere on April 25.

Soha, on the other hand, will portray the antagonist in "Chhorii 2," a horror film directed by Vishal Furia, which also stars Nushrratt Bharuccha, Gashmeer Mahajani, and Saurabh Goyal in prominent roles. Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Vikram Malhotra, and Jack Davis, the film is scheduled to debut on Amazon Prime Video on November 11.
