Veer Pahariya embarked on his Bollywood career with the film Sky Force, featuring Akshay Kumar. The movie, directed by Sandeep Kewlani and Abhishek Anil Kapur, premiered in theatres on January 24. Before its release, a dance move performed by Veer in the song Rang gained significant attention on social media, leading to some users mocking the actor for his performance. Recently, Veer addressed the criticism regarding his dance move, which he referred to as a 'langdi' step.

Veer Pahariya on getting trolled for his dance step

In a recent interview with Hautterfly, Veer Pahariya discussed the trolling he experienced due to his viral dance move from the Sky Force song "Rang." The young actor noted that his social media engagement has significantly risen since the trolling incident.

Throughout my life, I have admired actors who endure trolling and have lookalikes, ultimately becoming subjects of memes. I have now found myself in a similar position; it is quite astonishing to think that I am immortalized through this dance. Who was aware of my existence just 20 days ago? Now, if I perform the langdi here, I will be recognized, Veer remarked.

The Sky Force actor further expressed that numerous opportunities have arisen for him following the viral success of his song on social media. Veer has already showcased his viral dance at two weddings, where he executed the popular dance move.

"I performed the langdi step alongside the bride. I even playfully teased the groom, saying, ‘This is my fifth round. If I complete two more, the bride will be mine.' A plethora of work opportunities have emerged as people are now familiar with my identity," he added.

Veer Pahariya's Bollywood debut with Sky Force

Veer made his debut in the film Sky Force, sharing the screen with Akshay Kumar, Nimrat Kaur, and Sara Ali Khan. The film achieved a box office collection of Rs 129.95 crore in India. Following the conclusion of its theatrical release, it is set to premiere digitally on a streaming service. However, the producers have not yet disclosed the official release date or the platform for the OTT launch.
