Following his meeting with the team of Alappuzha Gymkhana, led by Naslen, he recently engaged with Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. Additionally, Sivakarthikeyan participated in an Art and Cultural Festival in Kannur, where he expressed admiration for the Kerala Chief Minister and delighted the audience by quoting a line from a song featured in a Rajinikanth film.

Sivakarthikeyan Recently, I participated in the Pinarayi Peruma Art and Cultural Festival held in Pinarayi, the hometown of Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. During the event, I had the opportunity to engage with the Chief Minister, who graciously hosted me for lunch at his residence.
The Ayalaan actor acknowledged that he had mistakenly believed the name of the Kerala Chief Minister was Pinarayi, only to realize that it actually refers to a location. He noted that Pinarayi has become a prominent figure in his hometown.
Sivakarthikeyan quoted a line from a well-known Rajinikanth song from the film Murattu Kaalai, stating, "Porandha Oorukku Pugazha Cheru, Valarntha Naatukku Peruma Thedu," which he found particularly relevant to Pinarayi Vijayan. This was reported by The Hindu.
The audience responded with applause when Sivakarthikeyan mentioned the Rajinikanth film. For those unfamiliar, Murattu Kaalai is a Tamil movie from 1980 featuring Rajinikanth alongside Rati Agnihotri, Sumalatha, and Jaishankar.
A video of Sivakarthikeyan's remarks at the event has been widely circulated on social media, and both CM Pinarayi and actor Asif Ali, known for Rekhachithram, were in attendance at the gathering in Kannur.
