Ajay Devgn recently made a special appearance on Bigg Boss 18. He was there on the Salman Khan-hosted reality show to promote his movie Singham Again. Ajay was joined by the film's director Rohit Shetty on the stage. During a conversation with Salman, Ajay revealed he suffered an eye injury on the set of Singham Again. The incident when Ajay was performing an action sequence for Rohit's cop drama.

Ajay Devgn opens up about his eye injury

On Bigg Boss 18, Ajay Devgn revealed that he suffered an eye injury due to a miscalculation of the timing of a stunt. To this, Salman Khan told Rohit Shetty that Ajay had shown him an action sequence that led to his eye injury. "Ajay ne mujhe ek shot dikhaya tha, koi lathi like inko marne aaya, aur uska timing chala gaya tha, toh seedha ankh mein padha," said Khan.

Ajay further mentioned, "I had to undergo a small surgery and I couldn't see for 2-3 months." The good part is that the actor recovered soon. On the reality show, Ajay as Bajirao Singham came face to face with Salman's Chulbul Pandey. Khan has already shot his cameo in Singham Again.

The superstar's special appearance will reportedly be a part of the film's post-credit scene. Salman's cameo duration is expected to be of 2-minute. With Salman's entry in Singham Again, Rohit's cop universe has become bigger and better.

Produced by Rohit Shetty Ajay Devgn Jyoti Deshpande, Singham Again is scheduled for a theatrical release on November 1, 2024. The cop drama will lock horns with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 at the box office. The horror comedy stars Kartik Aaryan, Vidya Balan, Madhuri Dixit and Triptii Dimri.
