The creators of Thug Life have initiated the film's promotional campaign with the release of its first single, "Jinguchaa," a wedding-themed track that has generated considerable buzz on social media. Directed by Mani Ratnam, who is reuniting with Kamal Haasan after 38 years since the iconic Nayakan, Thug Life features a talented cast including Silambarasan, Trisha, Ashok Selvan, and others.

During the event held in Chennai, Silambarasan shared his thoughts on the unique experience of acting alongside Kamal Haasan for the first time, as well as the joy of collaborating once again with Mani Ratnam following their work on Chekka Chivantha Vaanam.

 The launch event for the first single, "Jinguchaa," occurred in Chennai on Friday. The gathering was attended by the film's cast and crew, which featured director Mani Ratnam and actors Kamal Haasan, Silambarasan, Trisha, among others.

Silambarasan, who previously collaborated with Mani Ratnam on Chekka Chivantha Vaanam and is working with Kamal Haasan for the first time, remarked, “The initial days of shooting were quite challenging for me. While I had worked with Mani Ratnam sir before in Chekka Chivantha Vaanam, which was also difficult, I began to understand how to collaborate with him. However, this time, I am in the presence of both Mani sir and Kamal sir. I often found myself in a position where, while they were conversing, I was unsure of how to respond. I am grateful to Kamal sir; having watched his films as a child, it is a significant moment for me to act alongside him. He has treated me with great kindness and has graciously given me a place beside him.”

Simbu, An actor known for their roles in numerous films, has featured in notable titles such as Vaanam, Vallavan, and Manmathan, all of which are available for streaming on SunNXT and OTTplay Premium. Each of these films achieved significant commercial success upon their release.
