Actor Salman Khan unveiled the second teaser for his forthcoming film Sikandar on Thursday, showcasing an array of exhilarating action sequences. While numerous fans and film enthusiasts lauded the teaser, some users on social media drew parallels to Prashanth Neel's Salaar, which stars Prabhas, igniting a wave of comparisons online.

The teaser features intense action scenes, highlighting Salman in his characteristic style. He is depicted effortlessly overcoming numerous adversaries, delivering punches and kicks across various environments, including outdoor settings and inside an aircraft.

A particular scene has notably prompted comparisons to Prabhas' Salaar, where Salman Khan is depicted preparing to attack, flanked by individuals wielding sharp, sword-like weapons behind him.

A user expressed their thoughts on Reddit, stating, “The dialogues felt quite ordinary, and phrases like ‘saaf kardunga’ (will wipe it all) resembled a more assertive style akin to Ravikumar. The action sequences were rather uninspired. The final shot was somewhat well-executed, but it reminded me of Salaar.”

Another user commented, “I enjoyed the Salaar movie. I am uncertain if the creators of Sikandar aimed to replicate this particular scene from Salaar. However, to be honest, that scene in Salaar is the most illogical moment throughout the film.”

Numerous social media users promptly began creating collages that compared similar scenes from both movies, igniting a discussion among their followers regarding which actor delivered the more compelling performance in that intense moment—Salman Khan in Sikandar or Prabhas in Salaar.

Salman's upcoming film Sikandar is set to premiere in theaters on Eid 2025. Directed by AR Murugadoss, who has an impressive track record with films such as Ghajini, Thuppakki, Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty, and Sarkar, Sikandar features a talented cast that includes Kajal Aggarwal and Rashmika Mandanna. It is anticipated that Salman will showcase a completely new appearance in this film, although this look has not been revealed in either of the two teasers released.
