A reliable source associated with Rashmika Mandanna has disclosed that she recently suffered an injury while at the gym, but she is currently on the mend through adequate rest. This unfortunate incident has temporarily interrupted the filming of her forthcoming projects. However, she is reportedly feeling significantly better and is expected to return to the set in the near future. The actor has been advised to take a brief hiatus to ensure a full recovery before diving back into her busy schedule. While her fans have expressed concern regarding her injury, updates indicate that she is recuperating well and will soon be back to work.

Rashmika was actively filming for Sikandar alongside Salman Khan until her injury necessitated a pause. She is anticipated to resume shooting once she receives medical clearance.

At present, Rashmika Mandanna is receiving accolades for her role as Srivalli in Pushpa 2: The Rule. Directed by Sukumar, this film features Allu Arjun and Fahadh Faasil and has surpassed SS Rajamouli's Baahubali 2 to become the second-highest-grossing Indian film, following Dangal. The producers have announced that Pushpa 2: The Rule Reloaded, which will include an additional 20 minutes of bonus footage, is set to premiere in theatres on January 17.

Rashmika Mandanna is set to appear alongside Salman Khan in the upcoming film Sikandar, which is directed by AR Murugadoss and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. The movie features Salman Khan in dual roles, with a supporting cast that includes Kajal Aggarwal, Rashmika, Sathyaraj, Sharman Joshi, and Prateik Babbar. This project signifies Salman Khan’s collaboration with Sajid Nadiadwala nearly ten years after their successful film Kick, and it is slated for release in theaters on Eid 2025.

Following this, Rashmika will take on a role in The Girlfriend, directed by Rahul Ravindran. The teaser for the film was recently revealed by Rashmika's rumoured partner, Vijay Deverakonda.
