Varun Dhawan's niece Anjini Dhawan made her acting debut with Binny and Family. The young actress played the titular role in the film, which had a theatrical release on September 27, 2024. She featured in the movie alongside Rajesh Kumar, Pankaj Kapur, and others. Days after her first Bollywood film was released, Anjini reportedly bagged her second Hindi film. According to a Mid-Day report, Dhawan will star in Salman Khan's upcoming movie, Sikandar.
Anjini Dhawan to star in Salman Khan's Sikandar?
Varun Dhawan's niece Anjini Dhawan has apparently joined Sikandar's star cast, which includes Salman, Rashmika Mandanna, and Sathyaraj. The movie, which went on floors in June this year, will star Anjini in a pivotal role. "She has been cast in a key role. The character needed a fresh face, and Anjini fit the bill. She will join the shoot soon," a source told the tabloid.
More details about Dhawan's character have been kept under wraps. "It is not known yet what Anjini’s character’s relationship will be with Salman Khan’s protagonist," the source added. Team Sikandar doesn't intend to divulge details about Anjini's role as it is a catalyst to the story.
So far, it is only known that Salman Khan plays the character of a compassionate businessman, who carries emotional wounds from his past. The movie is reportedly being designed as an action entertainer. Directed by AR Murugadoss, Sikandar will hit the big screen on Eid 2025.

Meanwhile, in an interview with OTTplay, Anjini Dhawan revealed if Varun helped her make a career or shape up her character. To this, the young actress said, "No! Not at all. Not with my character, he definitely helped me a lot when it comes to giving me advice and guiding me. Like if I have questions like ‘this or that’, that advice, is definitely always there but the character ‘no’."
