'Sikandar' Composer Santhosh Narayanan Praises Salman Khan: 'Working with Him is a Joy'

Santhosh Narayan is set to make his debut as a music composer in Bollywood with the film Sikandar, featuring Salman Khan. Following the release of the film's teaser, audiences have expressed their admiration for its captivating background music. Santhosh is excited about the positive response to the teaser's score. In a recent interview, he discussed his experience composing music for Khan's project and shared insights about collaborating with both Salman and director AR Murugadoss.

In a recent interview with Movies Talkies, Santhosh Narayanan expressed his profound gratitude for the way music has resonated with the public. Regarding his work on the score for Sikandar, he mentioned that he typically endeavours to ensure that the score and songs are closely integrated with the film's narrative.

In reference to Sikandar, he remarked, "Murugadoss sir has skillfully integrated the essence of Salman Khan with the character he embodies. This has allowed me the creative liberty to enhance the score dramatically whenever necessary. I will make a deliberate effort to amplify the larger-than-life presence of the character portrayed by Salman sir."

He also reflected on his collaboration with Salman, describing it as a tremendous honour. Narayanan stated, "Working with Salman sir is a constant source of inspiration and a delightful experience." Santhosh acknowledged AR Murugadoss as a 'legend' hailing from Tamil Nadu, noting that the director provided specific guidance regarding the film's musical requirements.

Previously, while promoting the poster of Sikandar on X, Santhosh conveyed his enthusiasm regarding his debut in Bollywood alongside Salman Khan. He stated, "This is genuinely a wild dream coming to fruition. My journey in Bollywood commences tomorrow with our beloved Bhaijaan BeingSalmanKhan sir. I am proud to be part of this film. Let’s gooooooo (sic)."
