On February 28, Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani shocked their fans by revealing that they’re going to be parents for the first time. In a recent chat with Lily Singh, Sidharth shared his thoughts on being a parent and highlighted how crucial it is to instill the right values in kids.

Sidharth shared his thoughts on fatherhood, saying, "In my opinion, the toughest yet most important thing is to guide your boys as they grow up. That’s definitely my goal when the time comes. Whether it’s a girl or a boy, I believe in instilling values, ethics, and just being a good person. I came across a quote recently that really struck me: being male is something you’re born with, but becoming a man is a choice you make."

He also expressed his thoughts on what it means to be a man, saying, "You start owning up to your actions. You become more responsible and aware of your words and how you connect with your family and partners. That’s what I hope we can encourage as a society. It’s a big topic, but definitely something parents need to think about—what they’re instilling in their kids regarding culture, emotions, and role models."

Kiara and Sidharth shared their exciting news in a super cute post. The couple took to Instagram to reveal the pregnancy, posting a picture of baby socks they were holding and captioning it, "The greatest gift of our lives. Coming soon." They didn’t mention a due date or any other details, though.

Sidharth Malhotra has a new movie on the way

Sidharth is set to appear in Dinesh Vijan's new movie, Param Sundari. Directed by Tushar Jalota, the film features Janhvi Kapoor as the lead and is described as a cross-cultural romance taking place in the beautiful backwaters of Kerala. It's scheduled to hit theaters on July 25, 2025.
