There is a piece of good news for all the Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani fans as the couple is in talks with Maddock Films for a romantic drama as per a report. The favorite on-screen and off-screen couple makes people fall in love with their chemistry. They last romanced in the biographical movie, Shershaah. In the movie, Sidharth played the role of Captain Vikram Batra, dreamed of becoming a soldier, and fell in love with Dimple (Kiara). Soon after his training, he climbed the military ranks and contributed to India's victory in the Kargil War.

India Today reported that Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani are in talks with Maddock Films for an interesting love story. However, details about the storyline are still under wraps.
A source close to the project said, "It won’t be a typical Bollywood love story. There is an interesting twist and a novel element in this love story. It will blend romance with fantasy elements. It’s Maddock, they’re known for mixing humor and romance. It is going to be an interesting new film for the audience."
When Sidharth Malhotra talked about doing romantic film with Kiara Advani
In an earlier interview, Sidharth was asked if he would do another romantic movie with his wife, Kiara, on-screen. The actor said it depends on whether a director chooses to cast them together. He also mentioned that they both really want to act in a romantic film together.
He shared, “That's up to the directors and filmmakers. We would love to do a full-fledged love story. It's just up to us to find the right content and the right script. I'll take this message back home, let's see, and also take it to other directors and give them hints."
On the other hand, in an interview with Film Companion, Kiara shared that Shershaah gave them a lot of love as a couple and there’s a certain excitement among fans to see them together.
"I think we’re individual people first and actors first so that’s how we would go about looking for something. But yeah, we would love to work together, but it has to excite us equally," she added.
Meanwhile, if the project goes ahead, it will be Sidharth and Kiara's first film together after their wedding in 2023. They tied the knot on February 7, 2023, at Jaisalmer's Suryagarh Palace in the attendance of their close friends and family members.
On the professional front, Kiara is currently shooting for War 2 with Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR. Apart from this, she also has Game Changer and Toxic in the pipeline. Meanwhile, Sidharth Malhotra’s last release was Yodha.
