I love being with someone, but I worry about getting too attached. That said, I can’t rule anything out. If the right person comes along… But honestly, I don’t see that happening right now."

Regarding any hesitation stemming from her past, Shruti shared, "I think it’s more about me. I’ve witnessed some truly beautiful marriages among my friends—wonderful, successful ones. So, it’s really just a Shruti thing."

Shruti Haasan was previously in a relationship with doodle artist Santanu Hazarika. They connected on social media, and their friendship grew thanks to their shared love for art, music, and movies. They were together for about four years before splitting up in March 2024. A source mentioned to HT in April, "They ended things last month. Due to some personal differences, they chose to part ways on good terms."

Later on, Shruti confirmed the breakup during a Q&A on her social media. When a fan inquired about her relationship status, she said, "I don’t really like discussing this. But I’m completely single, not looking to date, just focusing on work and enjoying life. Bye. That’s enough?"
