On Sunday, she updated her fans, letting them know she had successfully regained access to her account. However, she cautioned them about AI-generated ads that misuse her name and image on the platform.

I’m back! I’ll be chatting and posting here more frequently. My X account faced some issues after getting hacked back in February, but I finally got some support from the @X team after a lot of back and forth. Everything is good now, and I’m here!

I also want to give you all a heads-up about some strange ads featuring my name and likeness. There are articles with ridiculous headlines and AI-generated images that are just clickbait leading to spam or fraudulent links. Please keep reporting these ads, as I can’t take them down myself. I’ve done what I can, but these ads are allowed under X’s regulations. I hope they can sort this out soon!

Cautions fans about clickbait ads using her image

Shreya shared a video celebrating the return of her account, but she cautioned her fans about clicking on ads on X. She mentioned, “Some ads and articles are just clickbait. They often come with sensational headlines or breaking news, and if you click on them, you might end up with spam or fraudulent links.”

The singer urged her followers to report these ads, explaining that she has tried to get them removed several times without success. “X needs to take action to stop these ads from appearing. It’s not just me; many other celebrities are dealing with this too. Please avoid clicking on them, as they’re fraudulent and generated by AI,” she advised.

Recently, Shreya performed songs like Naa Naa Hyraanaa from Game Changer, Hilesso Hilessa from Thandel, Nafarmaniyan from Pintu Ki Pappi, and Baby Chiki Chiki from Kadhalikka Neramillai.
