Shakti Kapoor turned 72 today, September 3. The veteran actor has been showered with warm birthday wishes from friends, family, and fans. Now, his daughter Shraddha Kapoor shared a picture with her father and wrote a birthday message and expressed love to her 'pasandida purush.'

A while ago, Shraddha Kapoor took to her Instagram account and shared a picture with her father Shakti Kapoor. The snap captures the father-daughter duo smiling brightly as they pose for the camera.

Sharing the image, Shraddha wished her father a happy birthday in Stree style. She penned, "Aaj mere pasandida purush ka janam din hai! Happy Birthday Baapu (red heart) @shaktikapoor Woh stree hai, woh kuch bhi kar sakti hai kyunki uske papa ka haath har dum uske sar par hai Love you Baapu"

Amar Kaushik's directorial has been enjoying a blockbuster success. On its 19th day, Stree 2 earned Rs. 6.5 crores, according to Sacnilk. This made the Box Office collections Rs. 508 crores net and Rs. 700 crores gross worldwide.

The film overpowered Ranbir Kapoor's Animal's lifetime Box Office collection worldwide. 

Meanwhile, Stree 2 is a sequel to the horror-comedy film Stree. The film, written by Niren Bhatt features cameos, including Varun Dhawan as Bhediya, Akshay Kumar, and Tamannaah Bhatia. The film's cast also features Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurana.
