During her interaction with the paparazzi at the event, she remarked, "He is cracking a lot of jokes these days, right?" In response, Amar humorously clasped his ears, appearing to apologize for his earlier remark.

Amar expressed his apprehension regarding Shraddha's fans, stating, "I'm getting scared. I'm most frightened of your fans!" As Shraddha leaned in with laughter, Amar indicated his fear, adding, "Let's scare him a bit."

In a recent conversation with Komal Nahta on his podcast Game Changers, Amar shared insights about casting Shraddha for the Stree franchise. He remarked, "The credit for Shraddha's casting entirely goes to Dinesh Vijan... When she laughs, he mentioned, 'Amar, her laughter resembles that of Stree, almost like a witch.' I apologize, Shraddha. I’m not entirely certain if he referred to her as a witch or something else."

This comment drew criticism from some of Shraddha's fans. One fan expressed, "Hey @AmarKaushik, it seems you've overlooked who contributed to the success of #Stree2! When you need publicity, you turn to @ShraddhaKapoor, yet behind the scenes, you mock her? That's disrespectful. Acknowledge the talent that drives your success." Another comment read, "These misogynistic men will never value her work or acting, and this is how they speak!" Additionally, another user tweeted, "He was trying too hard to be humorous but ended up coming off as cringe."

She was last seen alongside RajKummar Rao in the film, which also featured Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurana. Notably, Varun Dhawan and Akshay Kumar made special cameo appearances in the movie.
Recently, the producers of the Stree franchise announced the release date for the third installment of this horror-comedy series. Amar directed the film, which is scheduled to premiere on August 13, 2027.
