She responded, "To be honest, they are family, and I do not make comparisons in my mind. Additionally, there will always be a diverse audience that one encounters."
She elaborated, "I possess my own identity, and that is the reason for my presence here. I am not here merely as Namrata's sister or Mahesh's sister-in-law. My intention is not to satisfy everyone. I am pursuing what I believe is right. I have no need or desire to justify myself, as it is impossible to please everyone."

In a previous interview with Galatta, Shilpa was questioned about the absence of public support from her family members, particularly Mahesh Babu and Namrata Shirodkar, which resulted in trolls criticizing her for her perceived silence. Shilpa stated, "I am indifferent to what others say. I understand the significance of my family to me, and I am aware of my importance to them. That is what truly matters."
