In an interview with Indian Express SCREEN Live, Sharmila remarked that there exists a rivalry among celebrities concerning the dimensions of their vanity vans, which detracts from the essence of acting.

While working on an advertisement film, the makeup artist informed her that there is currently a competitive trend among certain actors regarding the size of their vanity vans.

Vanity vans were originally designed to provide privacy and a comfortable environment for actors to prepare. However, the introduction of meeting rooms, rest areas, and similar amenities is diverting attention from the core focus of acting. While financial success is undoubtedly significant, distancing oneself from reality can hinder an understanding of what resonates with the audience.
