For the uninitiated, angel investors and potential backers, known as "Sharks," hear entrepreneurs pitch their ideas for new businesses and products on the show. Each participant pitches their business idea to the group of self-made millionaires, who then select whether to invest in the venture or provide marketing and mentoring services. In the first season, Rannvijay Singh hosted the show. In the second season, comedian Rahul Dua took over for Singh and continued in that role for the upcoming third season as well.
