Director Shankar and actor Ram Charan are gearing up for the release of their upcoming film titled Game Changer. The film is scheduled to hit big screens on January 10, and the team has been going full throttle on delivering the best results.
While the makers are conducting a grand teaser launch event on Saturday in Lucknow, the cast and crew are expected to be in attendance. However, an important person will be giving the event a miss. Yes, director Shankar will be skipping the event.
Shankar to skip Game Changer teaser event
Game Changer is scheduled to hit big screens for the occasion of Sankranthi on January 10, 2025. Touted to be a political action-drama film, the film is based on a story written by Karthik Subbaraj. Production banners Sri Venkateswara Creations and Zee Studios are bankrolling the film.
Director Shankar, who is helming the project, said that he will not be able to make it to the teaser launch function held in Lucknow on Saturday. Ahead of the event, Shankar posted on X that he got busy with the film works, which prevented him from attending the event. “Hey Lucknow! I’ll miss you today as I’m still in Chennai editing to bring #GameChanger to the screens and fans by Sankranti 2025! Hope you enjoy today’s teaser launch with our beloved stars and team! I will see you very soon…” he wrote.

Apart from Ram Charan, the film also stars actors Kiara Advani, Anjali, Samuthirakani, SJ Suryah, Srikanth, Prakash Raj and Sunil, among others. It is to be noted that Game Changer not only marks Kiara's comeback to Telugu cinema after six years but also the second collaboration with Ram Charan after the 2019 film Vinaya Vidheya Rama.
Game Changer has music by S Thaman, and there are high anticipations on the film which will see Ram Charan as the lead after the release of RRR.
