The acting debut of Shanaya Kapoor, the daughter of Sanjay Kapoor and Maheep Kapoor, has been postponed for an extended period. Following several delays concerning her film projects, she is now prepared to embark on her career as an actress. On Friday, she utilized Instagram to share behind-the-scenes footage from the set of Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan in Azerbaijan.

In the images, Shanaya was observed holding the film's clapboard. She smiled at the camera while posing with the clapboard, which displayed the title of the film, Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan. In the accompanying caption, she expressed her sentiment with a simple, "grateful...".

In the comments section, Maheep Kapoor expressed her sentiments with red heart and evil eye protection emojis. Concurrently, Bhavana Pandey remarked, “Congratulations, my beautiful girl.” Additionally, Navya Nanda, Khushi Kapoor, and Anjini Dhawan contributed to the conversation with red heart emojis.

About her journey

Shanaya has previously served as an assistant director on the film Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl, which featured Janhvi Kapoor in the leading role. She is now set to make her acting debut in Vrusabha, a Telugu-Malayalam film that will showcase actor Mohanlal in the lead. The cast will also include Zahrah S Khan, daughter of Salma Agha, and Roshann Meka. Although primarily a bilingual production, Vrusabha will also be released in Tamil, Kannada, and Hindi. The film is produced by AVS Studios, First Step Movies, and Balaji Telefilms, with a scheduled release date of October 16.

Initially, Shanaya was expected to debut in Bollywood with Karan Johar's Bedhadak, where she was cast in the role of Nimrit alongside Lakshya and Gurfateh Pirzada. However, there have been no updates regarding the film's production since last year.
