At the third edition of the OTTplay Awards, held in Mumbai on March 22, she received the Breakthrough Performance (Female) award for her role in the period drama film Maharaj.

Shalini Pandey's captivating presence and exceptional talent over the past few years have established her prowess in both streaming services and cinema. She received the accolade for Breakthrough Performance, having made a significant impact with her role in Netflix's period drama, Maharaj. This achievement represents Shalini's inaugural win at the OTTplay Awards, which she accepted with great pride.

The actress from Arjun Reddy recently took on a leading role in Netflix's Dabba Cartel, sharing the screen with Shabana Azmi. She is recognized as one of the emerging talents in the OTT landscape, having delivered impressive performances in both Maharaj and Dabba Cartel.

Shalini Pandey portrayed a naive and devoted follower of a corrupt religious figure, playing the character Kishori, who is also the romantic interest of Junaid Khan in his debut film. The film's distinguished cast includes Jaideep Ahlawat and Sharvari, contributing to this crime and historical drama. The narrative centers on the struggle for justice against a formidable godman.

It is truly gratifying to witness Shalini's growth in the OTT arena through her remarkable performances. After receiving an award from Aijaz Khan and Vardhan Puri at the ceremony, Shalini expressed her appreciation, stating, “Good evening, everyone. Thank you to OTTplay and HT. The OTTplay Awards 2025, themed “One Nation, One Award,” was hosted by Aparshakti Khurana and Kubra Sait. The event honored notable figures such as Kajol, Imtiaz Ali, Jyotika, and Manoj Bajpayee, and was attended by prominent actors from the Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada film industries.

Co-presented by Real Juice and Kuhl, and powered by Stock Gro, the OTTplay Awards 2025 was a marquee event held in collaboration with HT City. Flipkart Spoyl served as the exclusive style partner, while D Pauls was the travel partner, Amante was the premium lingerie partner, Propshop was the real estate partner, and Aussie Lamb and Krishinet Fiber were special partners. UDigital acted as the ISP and iPTV partner, with Hyperlink serving as the event partner.
