A marketing representative from PVR Pictures informed the tabloid that there is a necessity for dedicated screening venues in specific locations for Santosh. "Once the film receives certification, we will arrange the schedule. There may be a slight delay of a few days, but it is set to be released in January." The film, which is both written and directed by Sandhya Suri, features Shahana Goswami in the lead role.
