Actors Shah Rukh Khan and Kartik Aaryan were present at the IIFA 2025 pre-event held in Mumbai on Friday evening. The official Instagram account of the IIFA Awards shared multiple images and videos featuring the two actors. Additionally, Nora Fatehi attended the event as well.

Shah Rukh gives Kartik anchoring tips

Kartik Aaryan has been selected to host the 25th edition of the International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA) this year in Jaipur, Rajasthan. During the event, Shah Rukh Khan provided Kartik Aaryan with valuable anchoring advice. In several videos, Shah Rukh demonstrated how Kartik could captivate the audience with his hosting in a traditional Rajasthani manner.

He remarked, “Kartik is set to host the 25th year. To ensure a smooth transition, I will teach him how to start in Jaipur. Therefore, he should begin by saying, 'Padharo mhare IIFA' (Welcome to IIFA).”

Kartik reiterated the phrase, prompting Shah Rukh to instruct him to express, "Padhaaro mhaare des, Rajasthan (Welcome to my state, Rajasthan)." The pair also extended their greetings to the audience by saying "Khamma Ghani (greetings in Rajasthani)." They joined their hands in a gesture of respect and bowed to the audience, which elicited an enthusiastic cheer.

Shah Rukh opts for ear cuffs

For the occasion, Shah Rukh chose a sophisticated black outfit consisting of a shirt, trousers, and a casual blazer. To enhance his appearance, he accessorized with a small round ear cuff. Kartik was dressed in a white shirt paired with a tie, complemented by a blue blazer and matching trousers.

Nora donned a black turtleneck beneath a printed blazer and coordinating skirt, accentuated by a red belt. The event also saw the presence of Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari. The next edition of the award ceremony is scheduled to be held in Jaipur on March 8 and 9.

In response to Shah Rukh's ear cuff, one fan remarked, “Wow, he looks amazing.” Another comment noted, “I love how he is experimenting with his looks.” Additionally, a viewer stated, “This ear cuff suits him well.”

As 2025 signifies the Silver Jubilee of the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA), Shah Rukh Khan expressed at the event, "Many of my most cherished memories are intricately linked to the IIFA 2025 journey, and celebrating its Silver Jubilee in the vibrant city of Jaipur, Rajasthan, is truly enchanting. Last year, Shah Rukh, alongside actor Vicky Kaushal and filmmaker Karan Johar, had the honour of hosting the IIFA Awards in Abu Dhabi.
