Shah Rukh Khan announced the title of his eldest son Aryan Khan's first directorial project on Monday. During the Next on Netflix event, the actor shared that the show, produced by his company Red Chillies Entertainment, will be called The B***ds of Bollywood.

Shah Rukh suggested Aryan to Netflix

At the event, Shah Rukh shared his original plans for Aryan. “He was learning about direction and production at USC in America. It’s such a weird coincidence. If it weren’t for Covid, I had actually talked to Ted and Bela about getting him a job at Netflix to assist someone. But then Covid hit, and he ended up coming back to India, where he started writing,” Shah Rukh explained.

He was talking about Ted Sarandos, the CEO of Netflix, and Bela Bajaria, the Chief Content Officer. Shah Rukh's production company has worked on several Netflix shows in India, like Love Hostel, Class of 83, Bard of Blood, Darlings, Betaal, and Bhakshak. The BA***ds of Bollywood is co-created by Bilal Siddiqi and Manav Chauhan, with Aryan's mom, Gauri Khan, producing it.

Shah Rukh's hopes for Aryan and Suhana

At the event on Monday, Shah Rukh expressed his hopes for his kids, who are just starting their journey in the entertainment industry. He wished that they receive at least half of the love he's enjoyed from fans throughout his career. "If they get even 50 percent of the love I've had, that would mean a lot to me," he shared. Shah Rukh was there with his wife Gauri, daughter Suhana, and son Aryan.

Suhana recently made her acting debut in Zoya Akhtar's period musical The Archies on Netflix India in 2023. She's also set to hit the big screen in Siddharth Anand's crime thriller King, which features Shah Rukh, Abhishek Bachchan, and Abhay Verma. The film is expected to hit theaters next year.
