Speculation has been rife regarding Shah Rukh Khan's possible appearance at this year's Met Gala. This buzz intensified when the actor's manager, Pooja Dadlani, unintentionally contributed to the rumors by liking a post that suggested the actor might attend the prestigious event.

Could Shah Rukh Khan be making his debut on the Met Gala red carpet? 

The intrigue began with a mysterious post on the well-known fashion Instagram account Diet Sabya, which alluded to a high-profile collaboration for the 2025 Met Gala. The post referred to "two titans" uniting for the fashion occasion, igniting curiosity among fans. While no specific names were mentioned, many speculated that the "titans" could refer to Shah Rukh and renowned fashion designer Sabyasachi.

The post stated, “STOP THE PRESSES!!! The impossible just happened! Two titans of their craft – the greatest Bollywood superstar and the biggest designer of our generation – are joining forces for their MET Gala 2025 debut… This Bollywood icon is about to become the first Indian man to strut his ‘dandy’ on the Met carpet." It was accompanied by the caption, “#MetGala is gonna be exciting. discuss babyyyyy.”

The speculation gained momentum as social media users began to ponder if the cryptic post was hinting at Shah Rukh's involvement. The buzz got intense when Shah Rukh's manager liked the post, leading many to wonder if this was a subtle confirmation of the actor's participation. Actors Alia Bhatt and Arjun Kapoor also liked the post.

Although there has been no official announcement as of yet, fans are eagerly anticipating news regarding whether the Bollywood icon will make an appearance on the red carpet at this prestigious event.

In the meantime, Kiara Advani is preparing to make her debut at the Met Gala this year. On May 5, the expectant mother will join numerous celebrities from around the globe on the illustrious fashion platform at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.

The Met Gala, formally known as the Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Benefit, is the most extravagant fundraising event of the year, taking place annually at the Met in New York every May. This year's theme, Superfine: Tailoring Black Style, emphasizes the art of classic tailoring.

Regarding Shah Rukh Khan's film projects, he did not have a release scheduled for 2024. His most recent film was Rajkummar Hirani's Dunki, which premiered in theaters in December 2023. Currently, Shah Rukh is engaged in the production of his upcoming film, titled King, which will also feature his daughter, Suhana Khan.

Recently, there have been reports indicating that Deepika Padukone has been cast to star alongside Shah Rukh Khan, Suhana Khan, and Abhishek Bachchan in King. The film is set to be released worldwide in 2026.
