While the world was busy celebrating the cricket-meets-stars phenomenon of the Indian Premier League, a yearly event where celebrity-owned teams battle on the field, no one was ready for the hurricane that the Kolkata Knight Riders brought. Shah Rukh Khan’s return to the top with three movies this year continued with his team playing their finest at the tournament. The star was in the stadium, cheering and motivating his players. It turns out luck is heavily on King Khan’s side, as his team took home the trophy in 2024, and his excitement knew no bounds.

Shah Rukh Khan Pens Emotional Note For KKR

We saw Shah Rukh Khan get emotional in the stadium, celebrating with his family and friends. The team, by winning the 2024 title, secured their third IPL trophy, making it a victory to celebrate. Shah Rukh, who has visibly been on cloud nine throughout the tournament, has now decided to pen a heartfelt note for his boys and share a message for all the fans, young and old. Read on to know everything about it.

In a note sharing a group picture with the team in the stadium, Shah Rukh Khan wrote, “To my boys... my team... my champs... ‘these blessed candles of the night’... My Stars of KKR. We cannot do a lot of things, and you cannot do them all either, but together we manage most of them. That's what @KKRiders stood for. Simply being together. Beyond the ability and guidance of @gautamgambhir55, the earnestness of Chandu, the love of Abhishek Nayar, and the leadership of @shreyasiyer96, the dedication of Tendo, @bharathi_arun, @1crowey, and @leamonnathan, this team is built on no hierarchy, just pure respect for collaboration.”

“GG said if you can't support a single vision as a team, you are leading to a division in the team. Each player understood that, young and old. The Trophy is not a testament to having the best players in the team, but proof of each player being the best for the team. Boys, you are all made of star stuff! Love you all, and don't let the dancing stop! Also, so happy and thankful for each and every KKR fan, and hope all around the world youngsters learn that tough times don't last... Finally, tough and happy teams do! Korbo. Lorbo. Jeetbo. Always. See you all at the stadia in 2025,” Shah Rukh Khan added.
