Shah Rukh Khan revealed the title of his son Aryan Khan’s first directorial project at the Next on Netflix event in Mumbai. The series, called The Ba***ds of Bollywood, is set to hit Netflix later this year.

The creators of The Ba***ds of Bollywood took a different approach compared to other shows announced today by keeping the cast a secret. They released a title announcement video featuring Shah Rukh and Aryan, where Aryan humorously mentioned it’s his ‘baap ka raj’ in the film industry. Gauri Khan is producing the series, which is co-created by Bilal Siddiqi and Manav Chauhan, both of whom also collaborated with Aryan on the writing.

Shah Rukh chatted at the event about how many stars have been part of the show. He mentioned, “I really appreciate the actors who agreed to be in this project. I didn’t reach out to them; they stepped up out of love for Aryan. I can’t drop any names right now because Aryan asked me to keep it under wraps. They’ve chosen to focus solely on me. Gauri and Aryan were the ones who got me to film the title reveal video. Huge thanks to all my colleagues; they did an amazing job. I got to check out the episodes, and they were super funny.”
