Bollywood icon Shah Rukh Khan and his family have temporarily left their renowned residence, Mannat, which is currently being renovated. They were recently seen arriving at an upscale apartment complex located in the Pali Hill neighborhood of Bandra, where they are expected to live for around two years.

Shah Rukh Khan moves out of Mannat

Shah Rukh Khan, accompanied by his wife Gauri Khan and daughter Suhana Khan, was recently seen at their new temporary residence, which is currently under renovation.

A recent video posted by Filmygyan showcased Shah Rukh, Gauri, and Suhana as they exited their car and entered the apartment building. Suhana was dressed in a vibrant yellow outfit, while Shah Rukh opted for a classic look in a neat white shirt.

The appearance of the entire family together excited fans, prompting many to share their joy by inundating the video's comment section with heart emojis.

Why has the Khan moved out of Mannat?

Shah Rukh Khan, along with his wife Gauri and their children—Aryan, Suhana, and AbRam—has moved into four floors of a luxury apartment building located in the Pali Hill area of Bandra. According to a report by HT, Shah Rukh has rented these floors from film producer Vashu Bhagnani. His company, Red Chillies Entertainment, has entered into a leave and license agreement with Bhagnani’s son, Jackky Bhagnani, and his daughter, Deepshika Deshmukh, who co-owns the property known as Puja Casa.

Sources informed HT that renovation work at Mannat was scheduled to commence in May. This renovation includes a long-discussed extension of the bungalow, which required Shah Rukh to obtain court approval. As Mannat is classified as a Grade III heritage structure, any structural modifications must be carried out only after receiving the necessary permissions.

Insiders revealed that the four floors will accommodate not only the Khan family but also their security personnel and staff, along with some office space. “While it is not as spacious as Mannat, there is sufficient room for his security and other staff,” stated a source. He is expected to pay a monthly rent of ₹24 lakh for these four floors.

Shah Rukh’s team has made significant efforts to ensure the safety and privacy of him and his family within the apartment complex. It remains uncertain how long Shah Rukh and his family intend to reside there, but sources indicate that the renovations at Mannat could take up to two years to complete.
