For a lot of fans, the IIFA Awards 2025 kicked off on Sunday night when the legendary Shah Rukh Khan showed up on the green carpet. The 59-year-old star, who later took the stage for an amazing performance at the grand finale, made a striking entrance in all black.

Shah Rukh turned heads in a stylish all-black ensemble as he greeted fans and paparazzi with his classic "adaab." At the event, he also shared a warm moment with playback singer Shreya Ghoshal, giving her a hug and posing for the cameras, which thrilled their fans.

For the evening, the Jawan star made quite an impression with his outfit choice. He sported a black double-breasted blazer featuring silver buttons, teamed with a black satin top and matching trousers. To top it all off, he accessorized with dark sunglasses, a sleek wristwatch, and a silver chain.

The official IIFA Instagram account posted some stunning shots of Shah Rukh on the green carpet, and fans couldn't help but rave about his style and charisma. One fan said, “Self-made star King Khan.” Another chimed in with, “The real IIFA has kicked off now.” Someone else commented, “He looks so classy. It’s like he’s aging backward.”

On March 8, the IIFA Digital Awards took place, and it was a big night for Kriti Sanon, Jitendra Kumar, Panchayat Season 3, and Amar Singh Chamkila, who all snagged major wins.

The main IIFA Awards ceremony happened the next day, March 9, with Kartik Aaryan and Karan Johar as hosts. A highlight of the night was Kareena Kapoor Khan paying tribute to her grandfather, Raj Kapoor, by performing some of his legendary songs like Mera Joota Hai Japani and Pyar Hua Ikraar Hua.

Earlier that day, the festival also honored the classic film Sholay with a special screening at the iconic Rajmandir Cinema.
