Shah Rukh shares the joy of Eid

On Monday, Shah Rukh shared a heartfelt message on X, which used to be Twitter, to wish his fans and followers a happy Eid.

He expressed, “Eid Mubarak… I’m filled with gratitude and sending prayers for everyone! Wishing you a day filled with hugs, biryani, warmth, and endless love. Stay joyful, stay safe, and may God bless you all.”

As soon as Shah Rukh made his post, fans went wild, flooding the comments with excited reactions and warm messages.

One fan exclaimed, “Eid Mubarak… Let’s see the KING on EID… Just like ATG Chennai Express!!” Another chimed in with, “Eid Mubarak Khan Saab!” Meanwhile, one user expressed, “Can’t wait for King, King.”

Many fans took this chance to voice their anticipation for Shah Rukh's comeback to movies. One person wrote, “I miss you on the big screen! Hope you return soon.”

Shah Rukh’s Bollywood projects

Shah Rukh didn't have any movie releases in 2024. His most recent film was Rajkummar Hirani's Dunki, which hit theaters in December 2023. Right now, he's busy working on his next project called King, which will also feature his daughter, Suhana Khan. They plan to start filming in March 2025, with a global release set for 2026.

Recently, Shah Rukh attended an event at the Global Village in Dubai, UAE, where he shared some insights about King. He mentioned, “I’m not just filming here; I’ll also be shooting in Mumbai when I return in a couple of months. My director, Siddharth Anand, is quite strict—he directed Pathaan, after all. He told me, 'Don’t spill any details about the film or what you’re doing in it.' So, I can’t share much, but I promise it will be entertaining and a lot of fun!”
