Sean 'Diddy' Combs Claims Misunderstanding: Girlfriends Not Prostitutes in New Indictment
2 months ago | 5 Views
Sean 'Diddy' Combs has refuted the allegations of sex trafficking made against him, contending that the individuals who have accused him of sexual assault and trafficking were, in fact, his "girlfriends" rather than sex workers.
The 55-year-old has previously pleaded not guilty to charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation for the purpose of prostitution following his arrest in September. He is currently being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn.
In a recent indictment filed on January 30, prosecutors assert that Combs "willfully caused the transportation of female victims, including but not limited to Victim-1, Victim-2, and Victim-3, as well as commercial sex workers across state and international lines on multiple occasions."
Additionally, the former music executive faces accusations of engaging in "a persistent and pervasive pattern of abuse toward women," which reportedly encompasses verbal, emotional, physical, and sexual abuse.
Diddy made ‘women to participate in orchestrated’ sexual performance
Combs allegedly coerced women into participating in staged sexual performances under his direction. According to a court document referenced by Radar Online, there were instances where Combs and his associates arranged for women and sex workers to travel to his location.
To ensure the women's involvement, Combs reportedly employed various tactics, including providing and distributing drugs, exerting control over their careers, leveraging his financial backing with threats to withdraw it, and resorting to intimidation and violence.
It is noteworthy that Combs was taken to the hospital late at night following his latest indictment. Sources indicate that he underwent an MRI around 10 PM on Thursday, January 30, due to experiencing knee pain.
Combs' attorney, Marc Agnifilo, has challenged the prosecution's claims, stating, "The prosecution's theory remains flawed. The government has introduced the absurd notion that two of Mr. Combs’ former girlfriends were not in fact girlfriends, but rather prostitutes."
He further emphasized that the filing "contains no new offenses" and reiterated, "Mr. Combs is as committed as ever to fighting these charges and winning at trial."
