During an appearance on NDTV Yuva, Sara mentioned that these feelings arose when Alia received the National Award. At that moment, Sara perceived Alia's life as being "set," especially since she also has a child.

Sara expressed her reflections on how she "dehumanized" Alia, failing to acknowledge the "challenges" Alia encountered throughout her journey. "When Alia received the National Award, my immediate thought was, 'Wow, she achieved this, and she has a child; her life must be perfect.' However, I was unaware of the struggles she faced to attain that recognition. As an actor, I overlooked her humanity. It's important to recognize that she likely experienced her own set of challenges and disappointments to reach her current position. I did not fully appreciate the effort involved. Every situation has multiple perspectives," Sara remarked.

Sara opens up on jealousy

Sara discussed the importance of understanding a person's complete narrative before experiencing envy. "Frequently, our feelings of envy towards others arise from a lack of information. We often covet their success without recognizing the effort and challenges that lie behind it. This lack of insight leads to a form of blindness associated with envy," she remarked.

About Alia's personal life, National Award, films

Alia married actor Ranbir Kapoor in April 2022 during a traditional Hindu ceremony held at their residence in Mumbai. On November 6 of the same year, she welcomed their daughter, Raha Kapoor. In October 2023, she received a National Award for her performance in the 2022 film Gangubai Kathiawadi.
