Bollywood star Sara Ali Khan frequently encounters criticism online regarding her acting abilities. During a recent chat at the Times Now Summit, she opened up about her approach to handling social media trolls and shared that meditation plays a big role in helping her cope.

Sara Ali Khan talks about handling online trolling

Sara talked about how she's built resilience against online trolling and that it hardly affects her anymore. She mentioned, "I've managed to reduce it a lot by filtering out what I can. Meditation really helps me distinguish between what's real and what's not. I view my thoughts like clouds now; I don’t cling to every single one. The issue was never the trolling itself, but rather the feeling of ‘Is this person right?’ Now, I just let that thought pass. I release the idea of ‘Sara is the best’ and also ‘Sara is the worst.’ I just focus on being Sara."

She continued, "I'm just scratching the surface of my acting career. Some people have their favorites, and others don’t. I still have a long journey ahead as an actor, and hopefully, a long life to explore production and entrepreneurship. If it leads to a public life..."

Sara Ali Khan's latest and future projects

Sara was last spotted in the film Sky Force, which also starred Akshay Kumar, Veer Pahariya, and Nimrat Kaur in prominent roles. Her next project is Anurag Basu’s romantic drama, Metro... In Dino, a spiritual follow-up to Basu’s well-received movie Life in a... Metro (2007).

This film, produced by T-Series Films and Anurag Basu Productions, is an anthology featuring four touching modern love stories. It boasts a talented cast that includes Aditya Roy Kapur, Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Pankaj Tripathi, Konkona Sen Sharma, Ali Fazal, and Fatima Sana Shaikh. The movie is set to hit theaters on July 4.
