Comedian Samay Raina is currently in Canada, hitting the stage as part of his comedy tour. Just a few weeks back, he was caught up in a bit of drama in India after a comment he made on his web show, India's Got Latent, stirred up some controversy. With FIRs filed and the matter escalating to the Supreme Court, Samay ended up removing all the episodes from YouTube. On Friday, he made his first post on his YouTube channel since the whole situation, but it wasn’t a video.

On Friday night, Samay hopped onto his channel and dropped a post exclusively for 'Members Only', featuring a heart emoji and a hug emoji, which usually symbolize support and connection. This was just for the paid subscribers, and there wasn’t any video with it. He shared it right before midnight. Surprisingly, even though it was aimed at a specific audience, the post racked up nearly 8k likes in just a minute. A fan shared a screenshot on YouTube showing that the post had 7500 likes, taken just a minute after it went live.

On Reddit, someone pointed out that the post hit 10k likes in less than 4 minutes. "It’s got 11k likes in just 4 minutes for members only. That’s pretty impressive," a fan mentioned. Another user chimed in, "That’s actually pretty low. If he had posted normally, it would’ve easily hit 100k by now."

Some folks speculated that Samay might have wanted to share a video but thought better of it due to the ongoing drama and legal issues. "He’s probably considering editing and posting a video, but then he realized he can’t. So this is all he can share for now," one Redditor commented.

India's Got Latent, a show put together and hosted by Samay Raina, is facing backlash after a comment made by guest Ranveer Allahbadia in the latest episode. Known as BeerBiceps, Allahbadia joked about "watching your parents have sex or joining them," which sparked a lot of outrage. This led to multiple FIRs being filed against him, Raina, and the other panelists involved.
