Despite removing all episodes of the show from his YouTube channel, Raina has been unable to quell the significant backlash. Amidst this turmoil, YouTuber Shwetabh Gangwar has disclosed details of his conversation with the "anxious and despondent" comedian.
Shwetabh Gangwar discusses Samay Raina's emotional condition
According to a report by, Shwetabh shared in a now-deleted video that he recently spoke with Samay, who appeared to be in a very low state. He remarked, "Bhaisahab, that person is broken." During their last discussion, he perceived a shattered individual, contrasting sharply with the Samay he had known at the onset of the controversy—one who was gloomy, unhappy, and fearful.
Shwetabh Gangwar’s struggles with public support
Furthermore, he indicated that he had taken a break from social media for a period, as he felt unable to provide public support to Samay during this difficult phase. Gangawar expressed that he felt utterly exhausted. The YouTuber conveyed his discontent regarding the representation of his friend. Ranveer, Apoorva Mukhija, and Ashish Chanchlani were also part of the panel for that episode, and Gangawar noted that they were experiencing challenging times as well.
Supreme Court criticism on youth behaviour
Justice Surya Kant has expressed his concerns regarding the youth of today, labeling them as "oversmart." During the Supreme Court proceedings concerning Ranveer Allahbadia on Monday, Justice Surya Kant refrained from directly referencing Samay Raina. The court remarked that these young individuals are exhibiting excessive cleverness. It was noted that someone even traveled to Canada to discuss the matter, indicating a sense of confusion about their next steps. They are aware of the situation but hesitate to take action due to their youth, as reported by Live Law. In a recent performance in London, Samay humorously addressed the issue, revealing that part of the proceeds would be allocated to his legal fees.
