Samantha Ruth Prabhu's former spouse, Naga Chaitanya, has recently married Sobhita Dhulipala in a private wedding ceremony. In a recent interview with GQ India, Samantha shared her thoughts on individuals who have transitioned into new relationships.

Samantha on moving on and feeling envious

Samantha expressed her desire to challenge a persistent societal belief: that a woman's achievements are linked to her marital status. When asked about her views on those who have embarked on new relationships or different life stages, she stated, “I’ve experienced too much in my life to focus on that.”

When questioned about whether she ever feels envious of others, she responded, “Oh no. One trait I completely distance myself from is envy. I refuse to allow it to be part of my essence. I believe envy is the source of all negativity. Everything else is manageable, but there is no room for something as detrimental as envy.”

Naga Chaitanya’s marriage to Sobhita Dhulipala

Naga Chaitanya and Samantha were married in 2017, celebrating both Christian and traditional South Indian ceremonies. However, they announced their separation in 2021, three years after their wedding. In December 2024, Chaitanya married Sobhita in a ceremony that was both intimate and extravagant.

Discussing his married life, Naga Chaitanya told Hindustan Times, “Married life is wonderful! I’m thoroughly enjoying it. It’s only been a couple of months. I believe we both invest equally in our work and personal lives, maintaining a solid work-life balance. I think that’s one of the key aspects we both connected on.”

Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s upcoming projects

Samantha was last featured in Citadel: Honey Bunny, the Indian adaptation of the Russo Brothers' American series Citadel, directed by Raj & DK. The series, which co-stars Varun Dhawan, has received significant acclaim for the performances of its actors.

She is set to appear in The Family Man Season 3. The producers recently released behind-the-scenes photographs showcasing Manoj Bajpayee and the cast as they completed filming. In addition to this, Samantha has upcoming projects including Maa Inti Bangaram and Rakt Brahmand.
