Actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu is making her debut as a producer with the film Subham, which is set to be released on May 9. In anticipation of the launch, she visited the Tirupati Balaji Temple on Saturday to seek blessings. Accompanying her was director Raj Nidimoru, which has sparked speculation about their relationship.

Samantha Ruth Prabhu chose a classic salwar kameez ensemble for her recent outing. The actress appeared radiant in a light pink salwar, with her hair left down. In videos captured by paparazzi outside the temple, she was observed navigating through the crowd alongside other devotees.

Samantha and Raj made their way to the main temple side by side, accompanied by additional security personnel. In a separate video, she was observed performing prayers with the assistance of a priest on-site.

Raj Nidimoru served as a co-director for the spy action-thriller series Citadel: Honey Bunny, which featured Samantha in the leading role. Recently, the second season of the series was abruptly canceled. It is also important to mention that Raj is married to Shhyamali De.

About her production venture

Samantha established her production company, Tralala Moving Pictures, in December 2023. During a recent discussion at BIFFES regarding gender pay inequality in the film industry, Nandini Reddy shared that Samantha had informed her of her commitment to ensuring equal pay for all individuals involved in her inaugural production. This makes her the first Indian actress to implement pay parity among the cast of her film.

On the professional front, Samantha is currently in the process of filming her upcoming series, Rakht Brahmand: The Bloody Kingdom. Directed by Raj & DK, the series is characterized as a “gripping, edgy narrative set in a fantastical realm, featuring intense action and stunning visuals.”

Additionally, she is set to appear in The Family Man Season 3, which features prominent actors such as Manoj Bajpayee, Jaideep Ahlawat, Priyamani, and Sharib Hashmi in leading roles.
