It seems a big break for composer Sam CS, who recently took to social media to confirm that he is indeed scoring the background score for the upcoming Telugu film Pushpa: The Rule. Sam CS, who predominantly works in the Tamil cinema industry, called it an "overwhelming journey" to work on Pushpa 2 starring Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna.

Sam CS on Pushpa 2: This couldn't have been possible without...

Only weeks before at the Pushpa 2 event held in Chennai, music composer Devi Sri Prasad pointed out how producers did not give him enough time and blamed him for his work. Later, reports began to surface that Sam CS was onboard to score the background music. On Tuesday, December 3, Sam penned a heartfelt note on his journey with Pushpa 2 and thanked the team.

“It's been an overwhelming journey for me on #Pushpa2. Thank you for considering me and giving me this wonderful experience of working on BGM. This couldn't have been possible without the tremendous support and belief of my producer #ravishankar #Naveenyerneni & #Cherry,” he wrote while thanking them. Sam also passed his gratefulness to Allu Arjun and called him “kind” by giving him “that extra zest”.

Sam thanked director Sukumar for giving him an opportunity to work on “power-packed fight scenes & climax”. It is to be noted that the songs for the film are scored by Devi Sri Prasad, whose recent work in Kanguva could be one of the reasons why Pushpa producers opted for a change in background score composer.

The film's producers, Mythri Movie Makers have been granted permission in Telangana for the ticket price hike. The rates have been set at ₹350 for single screens and ₹470 for multiplexes. Several multiplexes are planning to screen the film a day in advance through special night shows, with tickets priced at ₹1200.
