A month ago, pop sensation Britney Spears and actor Sam Asghari were officially declared legally single on her birthday, following the dissolution of their three-year marriage. Now, just a day after welcoming the new year, Sam took to Instagram to share images from his New Year's Eve getaway, during which he introduced his new girlfriend.

Sam announces their relationship on Instagram

On Thursday, Sam updated his Instagram account with five photographs featuring a new companion. The first image depicted them in a close embrace beneath a palm tree. The second captured the couple sunbathing together on a slanted palm tree by the ocean. In the third photo, they were seen holding one another on the dance floor, while the fourth showcased him gazing at her fondly as they sat inside a car. The final image was a mirror selfie taken by her, in which he tenderly held her, and both were dressed in matching white outfits. Sam accompanied the post with the caption, “Happy New Year to All.”

While he didn't tag the woman on Instagram, Just Jared has identified her as Brooke Irvine. She's a real estate agent and a former cheerleader based out of Los Angeles. However, she's kept her Instagram account private.

Britney, Sam's divorce

On December 2, 2024, the renowned pop artist was officially recognized as legally single, signifying the conclusion of her marriage to Sam Asghari. This development occurred seven months after the couple finalized their divorce settlement in May. Although the divorce had been resolved earlier in the year, it was on her birthday that her legal status as a single individual was formally acknowledged. Legal documents acquired confirm December 2, 2024, as the definitive date for the dissolution of their marriage.

Sam Asghari, aged 30, initially initiated divorce proceedings in August 2023, following just over a year of marriage to the singer. In his public statement at that time, he conveyed his hope that the media and the public would treat the situation with compassion and respect. He further stated, “We will hold onto the love and respect we have for each other and I wish her the best always.”
