Actor Salman Khan has recently released a new poster for his forthcoming film, Sikandar, which has generated considerable conversation on social media platforms. Numerous users have noted a notable similarity between the Sikandar poster and that of Jacqueline Fernandez's 2020 movie, Mrs. Serial Killer.

Is the poster a copy?

This observation has prompted considerable criticism of the Bollywood industry, with some individuals even referring to it as "Copywood." On Tuesday, Salman Khan took to X, previously known as Twitter, to unveil the poster in honour of producer Sajid Nadiadwala’s birthday.

The poster for Salman Khan's film Sikandar depicts the actor in a defensive stance against a sharp object, with his intense gaze prominently featured against a striking red background. Notably, the poster for Jacqueline's Mrs Serial Killer shows a similar theme, with the actress also holding a sharp object and her powerful emotions highlighted, set against a vivid red backdrop.

This resemblance has garnered significant attention from social media users, who have expressed their observations and opinions regarding the apparent similarities on X (formerly Twitter).

One user remarked, “Haa. correct But Jacqueline wali film to Disaster thi (Jacqueline’s film was a disaster),” while another stated, “Bollywood is now Copywood. It is proof.”

Additionally, one user commented, “This is an old habit of Bollywood.” Another added, "Heights of Mockery!!! #Sikandar. Salman Bhoi is so finished that his team needs to copy posters of @Asli_Jacqueline movies now.”

One individual remarked, "Yet another disappointment from Salman Khan this Eid!!!! #SikandarPoster #SalmanKhan," while sharing both posters.

Another comment stated, "#SalmanKhan has officially become a has-been. There is a lack of originality, effort, and hard work. He continues to present the same tired and lacklustre appearance."
