In an intriguing incident involving an unfulfilled desire, a fan of Salman Khan found himself in a predicament beyond his control. According to the news agency ANI, the individual was turned over to the police by the actor's security team after he invoked the name of Lawrence Bishnoi when denied the opportunity to meet Khan.

The Mumbai police reported that Salman Khan was engaged in a film shoot in Dadar West when a fan attempted to observe the proceedings. Security personnel intervened and removed him from the area, leading to a confrontation. In a fit of anger, the fan mentioned Lawrence Bishnoi, prompting the guards to contact the police and subsequently hand him over. The individual is a resident of Mumbai.

On October 24, authorities apprehended a man from Jamshedpur who had issued threats against Salman Khan, claiming to represent gangster Lawrence Bishnoi and demanding a ransom of ₹5 crore. The Mumbai Police initiated an investigation after the Mumbai Traffic Police received a threatening communication from an unidentified individual.

Previously, on October 21, the same sender who had threatened Khan on October 18 sent an apology, asserting that the message had been "sent by mistake."

The initial threat was directed to the control room of the Mumbai Traffic Police on October 18.

Salman Khan has previously faced death threats from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Bishnoi is currently incarcerated in Ahmedabad’s Sabarmati jail on charges including attempted murder and extortion. In April, suspected members of his gang fired shots outside Khan’s residence in Bandra.

Shortly thereafter, the Navi Mumbai Police reported that they had uncovered a conspiracy by the Bishnoi gang to assassinate Khan while he was en route to his farmhouse in Panvel, near Mumbai.
