During a chat with MK Talks, they reminisced about a touching moment when Salman did something kind for a crew member that brought her to tears.

Salman's kind act for the 65-year-old crew member

Vinay Sapru looked back on filming with Salman in Russia for Lucky: No Time for Love. He shared a touching moment when a 65-year-old woman in charge of costume continuity was moved to tears after Salman generously gifted her a large sum of money once they wrapped up. He mentioned, “The crew was split between Russians and Indians. We decided to have a special dresswoman for Salman ji, a lovely 65-year-old Russian lady who was like a mother to everyone. She would often scold Salman on set, and even though he’s such a big star, he would just laugh it off.”

Radhika and Vinay shared, “One day, she showed up on set with tears streaming down her face, and we asked her, ‘What’s wrong?’ She replied, ‘I got this envelope from Salman.’ She was crying so hard, saying she might not have to work for the next 3-4 years. She couldn’t even thank him. He’s on a whole different level.”

The filmmakers then disclosed that Salman had gifted her over $10,000. Radhika added that Salman didn’t personally give her the envelope; he had already left Russia after finishing the shoot when the crew member received it.

Reddit users were really touched by Salman’s kindness. One comment said, "I respect him for wanting to help others. This is something special." A fan mentioned, "I aspire to be like Salman in the future." Another user commented, "That’s incredibly sweet of him."

Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru are currently enjoying success with their film Sanam Teri Kasam, which, despite a rough start, has become the highest-grossing re-release. According to Sacnilk, Sanam Teri Kasam made ₹33 crore during its re-release, bringing its total domestic net to ₹41.35 crore and worldwide gross to ₹53 crore, with around ₹45 crore coming from the re-release alone.
