Salman Khan’s Co-Star Shares Shocking On-Set Injury Story

Actor Adi Irani, the brother of Bollywood actress Aruna Irani, known for his roles in films such as Dil, Beta, and Baazigar, reminisced about his experience working alongside Salman Khan in Chori Chori Chupke Chupke. In a conversation with Filmymantra Media, he discussed whether the renowned actor exhibited rowdy behavior on set, recounting an incident where Salman accidentally caused him to bleed by throwing him into a glass frame.

Adi reflected on his collaboration with Salman Khan in Chori Chori Chupke Chupke, clarifying that the actor's demeanor was not aimed at those around him but rather stemmed from his desire to live life according to his own principles. He noted that if Salman was not inclined to participate in something, he would simply refuse. Adi characterized this behavior not as arrogance but rather as a form of immaturity.

How Salman threw Adi into a glass frame

Reflecting on an event during the filming, Adi recounted, "During the shoot of Chori Chori Chupke Chupke, I was thrown into a glass frame, resulting in cuts on my face that caused bleeding. I was in a very bad state. The production would have been called off had I not intervened. It could have been paused for one to two months, leading to significant losses for the producers, but I chose to stand by them."

In response to inquiries regarding Salman’s reaction, Adi recounted, "When the incident first occurred, he immediately left the scene. He didn’t express any apologies; he simply walked out. Although he noticed the blood, he chose to exit and retreated to his room. However, the following day, upon my arrival for the shoot, he summoned me to his room and expressed, 'Adi, I am truly sorry. I can’t even bear to look you in the eyes. I feel terrible about what happened.'” Adi also mentioned that Salman spoke to him in a very kind manner.

Chori Chori Chupke Chupke is a romantic drama directed by Abbas–Mustan. Featuring Salman Khan, Rani Mukerji, and Preity Zinta in the leading roles, the film narrates the story of a married couple who engage a young sex worker to serve as a surrogate mother.
