Superstar Salman Khan has worked with several Hindi film actresses in his career. Khan was once paired with Dia Mirza for a film. Salman and Dia shared screen space for the first time in the 2002 film Tumko Na Bhool Paayenge. It was during this shoot when Salman told Dia that she would play his mother on the big screen in the future. The actress was baffled but considers Tumko Na Bhool Paayenge a 'special film' for her.

Dia Mirza recalls her interaction with Salman Khan

In an interview with Connect Cine, Dia Mirza opened up about her interaction with Salman Khan from the Tumko Na Bhool Paayenge shoot. The actress recalled Salman told her that the lady who played his mother in that film used to be his leading lady earlier. Dia was shocked and couldn't believe what Salman said.

"He was like yeah she was my leading lady in a film. I was like, then she is your age and she is playing your mother? He was like, yeah, and one day, you will play my mother! I was like ‘I hope that day never comes!’ Of all my memories working with Salman, this was a distinct one because this was so hilarious," revealed Dia.

The actress further mentioned, "I was so baffled by that, but I remember him being extremely protective and caring… at that, there was no gender-balance on sets. There were very less women on set."
