Sikandar's cut scene has fans buzzing with curiosity

A video has surfaced on X, which used to be called Twitter. It features a deleted scene from Sikandar that reveals a heartbreaking moment where Kajal Aggarwal's character feels overwhelmed by her controlling family situation and tries to end her life. In the clip, she opens up about what led her to that point. The scene shifts when Salman's character steps in, offering a powerful speech about the significance of life. He also urges her in-laws to reconsider their mindset.

Since the video surfaced, social media has been buzzing with questions about why such a powerful scene was cut from the film. Many believe that including it might have changed the movie's box office performance.

One fan commented, “This scene would have resonated well, especially given the current discussions around youth suicide. It was beautifully portrayed, and Salman’s explanation of her difficult exit really hit home. What’s done is done, though.” Another user added, “I agree, what’s done is done, but I really hope they release the unedited version. There’s so much more in it that could attract an even larger audience.”

Another fan pointed out, "This was necessary. The explanation about why lung and heart donations often go to waste was given, but the reason behind eye donation waste should have been emphasized."

Salman's Sikandar flop

Salman made his comeback to the big screen with Sikandar, his first film since 2023, but it didn't quite hit the mark at the box office. This movie also marks Salman's first Eid release in two years, hitting theaters on Sunday, March 30.
