Actor Salman Khan took his 89-year-old dad, Salim Khan, to the trailer launch of his new movie, Sikandar. He was seen arriving at the event, lending a hand to Salim as they made their way up the stairs. The Sikandar trailer premiered in Mumbai on Sunday evening.

Salman lends a hand to Salim

Salman was spotted helping his dad on their way to the event. He walked right next to his father, Salim, lending a hand as they navigated the stairs and encouraging him to use the railing for support. The paparazzi were all around them at the venue. Salman looked sharp in a blue blazer, a dark blue shirt, and stylish trousers.

Sikandar trailer release details

At the launch of the Sikandar trailer, Salman was joined on stage by actors Rashmika Mandanna and Kajal Aggarwal, along with director AR Murugadoss. During the event, Salman engaged with the media and even treated everyone to a rendition of ‘Lag ja gale’ when they requested it. A segment of this song features Salman and Rashmika in the film, which was also highlighted in the trailer.

The trailer showcased Salman in a grand, larger-than-life role. The action-packed storyline follows his character on a mission to dismantle a crime syndicate in Mumbai, with Rashmika portraying his love interest. The film is set to hit theaters on March 30.

In other news, Salim Khan is celebrated as one of the most esteemed screenwriters in Indian cinema. He, along with Javed Akhtar, created the legendary writing duo Salim-Javed. Last year, a docuseries titled Angry Young Men, chronicling their journey in the film industry, was released on Prime Video. This three-part documentary was co-produced by Salman Khan's Salman Khan Films, Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani's Excel Entertainment, and Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti's Tiger Baby Films.
