This film, part of Yash Raj Films' renowned Spy Universe, emerged as one of the year's top-grossing films. Currently, with Sikandar now showing in theaters, comparisons are being made to November 12, 2023, the date when Tiger 3 was released. As reported by Sacnilk, Sikandar has generated around ₹26 crore on its opening day, which is considerably below expectations.

Moreover, it is troubling that pre-release forecasts indicated that Sikandar could achieve box office results similar to those of Tiger 3. However, the film has not only failed to match the opening day earnings of Tiger 3 but has also fallen short by nearly 50%. The Katrina Kaif-led film garnered ₹53 crore on its first day, highlighting Sikandar's significant deficit.
