Amid the investigation of Baba Siddique's murder, a piece of new information regarding Salman Khan's house firing case came to light. As per a chargesheet filed by the Navi Mumbai Police, a Rs 25 lakh contract was issued to assassinate actor Salman Khan near his farmhouse in Panvel, Maharashtra.

New information about Salman Khan's house firing case

NDTV reported that Lawrence Bishnoi's gang offered the shooters Rs 25 lakh to assassinate Salman Khan regarding the house firing case. The accused were planning to acquire advanced weapons, including AK-47s, AK-92s, M-16s from Pakistan, and the Turkish-made Zigana pistol, similar to the one used in the killing of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala.

They had recruited boys under 18 for the job, who are currently hiding in Pune, Raigad, Navi Mumbai, Thane, and Gujarat.

The chargesheet also mentioned that around 60 to 70 individuals were constantly monitoring Salman's movements, particularly at his Bandra residence, Panvel farmhouse, and Goregaon Film City. The plot to assassinate the actor was planned between August 2023 and April 2024.

Lawrence Bishnoi gang shooter arrested in Haryana in connection to Salman Khan house firing case

IANS reported that the Mumbai Police, in collaboration with local authorities arrested Sukkha from Panipat Sector 9, Haryana. 

For the unversed, Sukkha is reportedly an alleged shooter for the Lawrence Bishnoi gang and a resident of Rail Kalan village. He is accused of being involved in the firing incident that took place outside Salman Khan’s Mumbai residence on April 14, 2024. The police have confirmed that Sukkha will be taken to court on Thursday after being brought to Navi Mumbai for further investigation.

On April 14, 2024, two men allegedly commissioned by Lawrence Bishnoi’s brother Anmol Bishnoi, opened fire outside Salman Khan’s residence, Galaxy Apartments, in Mumbai. The Mumbai Police prompted a quick investigation to arrest those responsible.

Later, Anmol Bishnoi took responsibility for the attack in a social media post. He stated: "Salman Khan, do not take us lightly. This firing incident was just a trailer so that you understand our strength. This is the first and last warning. After this, the firing will happen at your home."

On the professional front, Salman is busy shooting for Sikandar and Bigg Boss Season 18. Sikandar will be released in Eid 2025.
