This marks the fifth time in two years that Salman has faced threats to his life.

Last year, the Mumbai Police uncovered a conspiracy to murder the actor at his farmhouse in Panvel. Allegedly, hitmen from Lawrence Bishnoi's gang were monitoring the actor with intentions to carry out the assassination upon his arrival at the property. Lawrence Bishnoi has publicly expressed his animosity towards Salman, which is rooted in a blackbuck poaching case from the 1990s, as blackbucks hold sacred significance for the Bishnoi community. Lawrence has insisted that Salman travel to Rajasthan to apologize for the alleged 'killing of a blackbuck,' threatening that failure to do so would result in his death. It is important to note that the court has dismissed the poaching charges against Salman.

Salman Recently, the film Sikandar, marking AR Murugadoss' return to Bollywood, was showcased in theaters. Released during the Eid celebrations, the film did not achieve a robust opening.
