Salman Khan engaged in an open discussion regarding his upcoming Eid release, Sikandar, alongside his father, Salim Khan, director AR Murugadoss, and his close friend and fellow actor, Aamir Khan. Salim expressed that he had viewed the film and provided positive feedback on the screenplay. In the course of their conversation, Salman reminded his father that he had incorporated two dialogues from the classic film Deewar into Sikandar.
Salim Khan's Insights on Sikandar
During their dialogue, Aamir inquired if Salim had watched Sikandar. The esteemed screenwriter confirmed that he had and shared his thoughts on the film. “The most compelling aspect of Sikandar is that after each scene, it compels you to ask, 'What will happen next?' 'What will he do now?' If you can maintain the audience's curiosity about the unfolding events, it signifies a successful film.”
In addition, Salman emphasized that Sikandar is designed to appeal to a broad audience. He described the film as a ‘complete package’ that caters to diverse viewers. He also informed his father about the inclusion of two dialogues from Deewar, a film he co-wrote with Javed Akhtar.
Dialogues from Deewar
"One of the dialogues from Deewar is, 'There is no Amitabh Bachchan here to pick up the money that has been thrown.' That’s included. Additionally, there’s another line where I say, 'While you are searching for me outside, I am waiting for you at your home.' Both are from Deewar, but I have added a slight twist to them."
Sikandar features Rashmika Mandanna and Kajal Aggarwal and is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala’s Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. The film is scheduled for release on March 30.
